Notes for WILLIAM HENRY THOMAS, JR.:
Wm Thomas, Jr. age 34 born in Georgia, wife Rody (sic) 34 born in Georgia, and their children; Mary A. 12, Frances C. 10, William J. 8, and John H. 6 were living in Wellborn Precinct, Coffee County, Alabama when the 1860 census was taken. All children were born in Alabama. Others in the home were Wm Thomas, age 70 (William Thomas, Sr.) Matilda, 14 (William Thomas, Sr.'s daughter), Elizabeth Vicars, 25 born in Georgia (William Thomas, Sr.'s daughter), and James F. Vicars 2, born in Alabama (Elizabeth Thomas Vicar's son.) Close neighbors included three Matthews families headed by John E., Joseph, and Issac Matthews; men 30, 31, and 26 years of age respectively. John had a son in his home named Seborn (sic) age 2 who may be Seaborn Jasper who married Anna Warr.

Wm Thomas, age 54 born in Georgia as were his parents, wife Nancy 55 born in Georgia, her father in Virginia, and her mother in Georgia, and their children; Mary An (sic) 32, Joe 27, Frances 30, Jns W. (sic) (Jonathan) 20, N.P. (male) (sic) 19, and Daniel J. 17 were living in Peacock's Precinct, Coffee County, Alabama on June 18, 1880 when the census was taken. The male "N.P." entry could be the source of some researchers tagging "Daniel Joshua Newton Jefferson Pickney Honecutt Thomas" as one name. But clearly, Daniel J.(oshua) was the youngest on the census at 17 and the entry above him, N.P. 19 could be his brother David T. Thomas. Perhaps the Newton Pickney belongs to him, not his younger brother, Daniel.

18. FELICE OPHELIA "CELIA"5 WARR (MARY ANN4 THOMAS, RHODA NANCY3 HARPER, JOSEPH MALONE2, JOHN WILLIAM1)9,10 was born 05 Apr 1890, and died Abt. 1968 in Opp, Covington County, Alabama. She married JAMES POLK ADKINSON11 09 Sep 1909 in Coffee County, AL12, son of DANIEL ADKINSON and JANE BOOTH. He was born 30 Jan 1891 in Coffee County, AL, and died Jun 1981 in Opp, Covington County, Alabama13.

Notes for FELICE OPHELIA "CELIA" WARR:
Felia (sic) born April 1890 lived in the home of Angus Harrison on June 2, 1900 in Coffee County, Alabama when the census was taken in Peacock's Precinct. She was listed as "daughter" to Angus Harrison. The child above Felice was Agnes, born March 1889 and the one below her was Levie born February 1891. All three girls are approximately a year apart and Felia fits into this family, yet there is a contention that she is the daughter of John Thomas Warr, Sr. and Mary Ann Thomas. If Felice is the daughter of John and Mary Ann Thomas Warr, she was living with her mother's sister in 1900. Frances Mary Ann Martha Susan Thomas Warr, Felice's oldest sibling (if Felice is the daughter of John and Mary Ann Thomas Warr) who married John Tyler Croley, was living nearby.

On April 22, 1910, Felice 22 and her husband Poke (sic) Adkison (sic) 21 and their child John, either five or seven months, old were living in Peacock's precinct, Coffee County, Alabama.

Poke Adkison 29 (sic) and Felie (sic) 33 (sic), and children; John D. 10, Cola Mae 5, William D. three years and 0 months, and Mary Ethel two months old lived next door to William Angus Harrison's family on January 20, 1920 when the census was taken in Peacock's Precinct, Coffee County, Alabama.

James P. Adkisson (sic) 38, wife Ophelia 40, and children; John D. 20, Coler (sic) M. 16, William D. 13, Mary E. 11, Murl (sic) E. 9, and Daniel Jr. three years-seven months old lived in Parker Precinct, Coffee County, Alabama on April 17, 1930 when the census was taken. The next household was James Eli Danford. James married Modess, the daughter of Celia Harrison. Celia, the daughter of William Angus Harrison, was retarded and had several children by Robert Bowdoin some researchers contend. Felice Opelia Warr was raised as a Harrison in the home with Celia and her children. Felice was actually the second cousin of Modess whom she was living next to in 1930.

Notes for DANIEL B. ADKINSON II:

Notes for CELIA ANN HARRISON:
Retarded. Had children outside marriage. The 1910 census showed Celia age 38 living in the home of her parents Angus and Frances Thomas Harrison. There were three children; Modes (sic) 13, Mary 9, and Fairy Bell 7 all identified as Angus' daughters, but in fact were Celia's children.
