He is survived by one brother, Columbus Bradshaw, of Geneva County
and two nieces, Mr. G. H . Leonard and Mrs. Lula Parker of Ozark Route 1."

I was more than please to hear from you after so many years - You are my own sister. You wher born before Ma left Father, you wher about two years old, when mother left. John Flowers was your cousin. You must write me all about mother let me know when she died, and all about yourself.
Father died about five years ago, he was 99 years old. He married again after mother left, about 12 years after Mother left, he had one child by his last wife, name Jordan. He is grown now, he is your half brother, his mother was Mrs Bradshaw. Father lived in Dale Co till he died
Issabel died in Mississippi
Charley died some 25 year or 30 year ago
Erwin he is still in Texas
Jacob he died during the war
William he died at Chattanoga during the war
Frances is in Alabama living near Jefferson his P O is Ozark Alabama
Lanie died during the war
Samuel died during the war
Ely is living at Westville Johns Co Fla
He is married and two children, girls
I have two children, girls both are married and have families. My wife Mary Jane Wiggs is still living. We are getting along very well considering we are getting old

Dear Sister with much peasure I seat myself to write you a few lines in reply to yours of Oct 14th which came safe to hand and found us as well as common well Sister when you and mother left Alabama the rest of us was in a half mile. Father moved a bout 2 days before mother left you was 2 years old when you left Alabma and I have toated you in my arms lots of times. You said you could not make out Eeli PostOffice It is Westville Fla Eli had the Lagrip and it put out one of his eyes he lives in West Fla and I live in south Fla I can't tell you how far apart we live though a long ways the last I heard of Ervin his post office was Saratoga Texas and Isabell left the same year you did she had two girls the youngest one died in Alabama they moved to Missippi but I do not know their posst office Isabell has been dead upwards of 40 years She married John Renfro me and Eli has been in Florida 35 years you wanted to know how we like Fla I can't say how Eli likes it but I llike it better than any other country was ever iin. I have been in south carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee clost to the line of Mississippi and Flas is the best poor mans country I ever was in Sister are you living with your lasst husband if you are I have nothing to say, but if you are not take your chilren and come to Fla ancer this question at oooused
Jeff and Frances are both married they both married Caraways. Jeff has got two girls and Frances has got 2 boys living I do not know her post office but Jeffs Post Office is Ozark, Ala RFD No 2. Jacob Warr and Wash Warr died in Texas the last I heard from Alfred he lived in Alabama and was Snake bit Henry Warr moved to Texas and I haven't heard from him since well sister we have 160 acres of land here and some of it is poor and some of it is as good as there is any where in the world the good land I believe will make $500.00 per acre in one year planted in the right kind of stuff properly and treated though we are getting old and not able to work much if we could work like young folks we could make a fortune and we have about 50 orange trees and half of them bearing so you see we have fruit to eat and to sell a person can sell any and everything they can rrraise though we do not raise cotton in this country well sister we raise our meat although the bear are pretty bad they catch lots of hogs but we kill a bear now and then we have not have extra cold weatheer here last winter it was not cold enought to kill sweet potatoes vines on up land I guess it gets pretty cold up there well I buess every thing is cheap up there and I guess wages are small everything as high here meat 13 cents Flour $5.00 peer bd corn 1.60 per sack and so on but the wages are high

PARKER, J. L., 79, of Ozark, Rt 1, died Tuesday after a long illness. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev Q P Jones and the Rev William Snellgrove officiating. Burial will be in the church cemeery with Holman Funeral Home directing. Surviving are the widow; two sons, Ray and Lloyd Parker, both of Ozark, Rt 1; two daughters, Mrs Ray Nichols, Montgomery, and Mrs Robert Weeks, Ozark; two brothers, Dan and J W Parker, both of Ozark; a sister, Mrs T A Cumbie, Ozark, and seven grandchildren.
